 
Greetings Brothers, Family and Friends, I bring to you prayers and well wishes from our Supreme Basileus and His Son,
our Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ. May His Grace, Mercy, Peace and Blessings continue to flow within our families.
This message is to officially and publicly extend a gracious acknowledgement of gratitude to all
of the many leadership teams that made the Mighty Ninth District of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. annual district
meeting a huge SUCCESS. Even as I begin to list the leadership teams, I am positive that somehow, there will be one or two that I may overlook. If this should occur, please understand that this meeting was truly a TEAM effort and if an omission is noted, a correction will be extended. (I will try to be inclusive) First of all, to the San Antonio Crowne Plaza Riverwalk Hotel under the direction of Ms. Barbara Baird, Crowne Meeting Director, your services and dedication were outstanding. Your leadership team and the hotel support staff are to be commended for the many comments that I received that were positive and the expressions of plans to return to your property. Each department was professional, courteous and eager to assist when requested to do so. Brother John Cooper will complete the wrap-up meeting with your team per your schedule. On behalf of the Ninth District outgoing and newly elected District Council Members, let me commend the Men of Omega. The decorum that I witnessed from the start to finish of our great meeting was truly a Testament to your Faith and Dedication to God, our Families, our Friends, and to our Great Fraternity (Especially our FOUNDERS). I cannot express in words the display of public expressions that were constantly being said as I traveled through-out the property. All were positive in regards to our focused purpose and well dressed appearance while completing the Business of Omega. Let me now focus on the San Antonio Graduate and Undergraduate Chapters of our fraternity. Psi Alpha Chapter, Alpha Delta Lambda Chapter and the Mighty Psi Alpha Chapter of Quettes performed an AWESOME week long “Extended Welcome' to our 'Alamo City' visitors. From business to social outings, we were treated with First Class Hospitality. Brothers Cooper, Thompson and Hasty led a team of dedicated troops who refused to be defeated no matter what the challenge presented. Special thanks go out to Quettes Burris, Johnson and Cooper who led the Leadership Team from their wonderful organization. The entire membership roster of the Psi Alpha Chapter of Quettes made certain that our families and Friends were treated like 'True Family' as we were in Omega Business Session. Again, I thank-you. Let me now extend gratitude to our Supreme Council Members and the support leadership team that traveled from near and far in order to bring words of wisdom and information to our District Membership. I cannot recall in recent years, the vast amount of International Leadership Team Members attending and sharing the knowledge of Omega with our general membership. Please note that the Mighty Ninth District is appreciative of the time granted to us. We truly realize that your presence with us meant that you were absent from your immediate family during this period. I cannot begin to overlook the dedication and hard work that our District Council Members, our Appointed Leadership Team Members and their support committee members completed behind the scenes to create a positive atmosphere through-out the entire meeting. Each of you, no matter how large or how minor your role, made a great contribution to our success. To each of you, we say thank-you and a job well done. Let me say to the entire city of San Antonio, the surrounding community, its organizations, business and city officials, we are excited to say that we look forward to a return visit to your city and will rest well knowing that this same 'Special Treatment' awaits us. Brothers, Family and Friends, this message is to simply say, THANK-YOU. If we have omitted any sector, please understand that it was a human error and not one from the HEART. May our Supreme Basileus of the Universe continue to Watch over and Bless us all. I would like to close with our usual parting prayer of.... “Our Father, which art in Heaven…”.
